Student Loan Forgiveness & Support
JRLA's charter operator, Phalen Leadership Academies (PLA), is a non-profit 501(c)(3). Due to your dedication and public service, you may qualify for student loan forgiveness. Our Human Resources Department works with you on understanding your eligibility. We also assist you in completing loan forgiveness applications.
Additional Income Opportunities
Many of our teachers earn extra money during the summer because PLA offers summer jobs for teachers and staff. Our teachers earn extra money by working in our schools with our summer programming partners. PLA teachers get first priority placement in school summer programming. Teachers are also able to apply to lead program sites.
